Mi chiamo Filippo Angelone, sono nato nel 1977, sono un fotografo e vivo a Catania. La cosa che amo fare di più è raccontare storie attraverso le immagini.
Di quale tipo di attività fotografica di occupi abitualmente?
Mi è sempre piaciuto fotografare le persone per raccontare le loro storie. Così ho deciso di dedicarmi principalmente alla fotografia di matrimonio e ai ritratti.
In che modo fotografi durante i matrimoni?
Per me la fotografia è soprattutto un fatto di relazione, per questo, cerco di instaurare fin da subito un rapporto con gli sposi, poi passo l’intera giornata insieme a loro, per cogliere le immagini più significative. Lo faccio senza interferire troppo con lo scorrere degli eventi, il matrimonio è un giorno importante, non può essere “pilotato” da un fotografo. Credo poi che, nella maggior parte dei casi, obbligarli a mettersi in posa produca risultati a dir poco ridicoli.
Fai anche foto tradizionali?
Si. Pur non essendo un fotografo “tradizionale” penso che i ritratti con i parenti siano importanti. Quando mi viene chiesto, dedico dei momenti della giornata a questo tipo di fotografie.
Ti occupi anche del video?
Si. Ho dei collaboratori di grande esperienza e creatività che condividono la mia stessa visione del lavoro durante i matrimoni.
Sei disposto a viaggiare?
Si! Sono disponibile per lavori in Sicilia, in Italia e in giro per il mondo.

My name is Filippo Angelone, I was born in 1977, I’m a freelance photographer and I live in Catania. the thing I like the most is to tell stories using images.
What kind of photography do you do?
I've always loved to take pictures of people and trying to tell their stories. For this reason I decided to dedicate myself mainly to wedding photography and lifestyle portrait as well.
How do you take pictures during the weddings?
I think that photography is especially about relationships, so, I try to establish
a climate of confidence with the bride and the groom
and i spend the whole day together with them to catch the most meaningful moments. I do it trying not to interfere with the flow of events, the wedding is just their day and can't be driven by a photographer. Besides I believe that most of times forcing them to pose can lead to ridiculous results.
Do you photograph formal / traditional group at wedding?
I’m not a “traditional” photographer but I think that this kind of pictures are important. When they ask me I dedicate some times of the day to these kind of photography.
Do you deal also with the video?
I do. I have very experienced partners who share my vision of work with creativity.
Are you available to travel?
Yes! I’m available to travel anywhere in Italy e around the world.
